wont idle now???

yesterday the accelerator coz jammed in my 1200 ute and it reved really high for about 2 seconds, ever since then it wont idle. i've tried re tuning the carb with no luck so i was wondering where should i look next ... its almost like the carby has a flat spot betwwen 1100 and 500 revs

do u have a bad batch of fuel? try draining the bowl....
make sure all the linkages are still connected and make sure there areno vaccum leaks... thats all i can think of

figure out if it's one cylinder or all of them.
Pull a spark plug one at a time. And see if only one of them doesn't change the idle when you pull it. You might have a bad plug...or bent a valve.

turned out to be a partial blocked jet. it ran fine above 1500 rpm but now it works fine thanks guys
