#1 VG30 into B210
Ruffy Posted on: 2008/9/9 13:11
Hi guys.
I'm embarking on a VG30 fitment into a B210. I have lots of questions but will limit them for the moment.
Firstly, has anyone got any first hand experience with this and any useful tips.
With the measurements i've taken so far i'm not sure what i am going to do about brake master cyl and steering box. Am toying with fitting a rack and ditching the box all together.
Don't know which way i will go with the diff yet.. any suggestions?
Lastly, whilst i am a mechanic, i am not familiar with model codes for diffs etc, so i'd appreciate some info on which cars these things came out of.
Thank you in advance for any info.
Oh, defintely will be pics on the way.

start with an r31 skyline diff very strong is it going to be turbo or na, i think either way putting headers or turbos on is going to be very hard, maybe not as hard as a 1200 tho...

Thanks Kegs.
NA. Already have headers. The engine had 105kw at the rear wheels in it's previous vehicle.

105 might as well put a ca18det in it ...less work more power

Well it's like this. I already have the VG30 as a freebie. And the project is as much about the doing it as it is about the power.
I like the torque of the V6 over the CA as well.
