i guys i was just wondering if anybody knows any good wreckers for datto parts here in perth. Most places now dont have anything datto

yea,most,if not all the wreckers here are outa datsuns, i was havin trouble findin stuff in the late 90s.

the hard part for me is i go in and ask if they have any parts for a datsun 620. All i get is "a what" So hard to find anything. I am just wanting to go and look around but i want to go somewhere where i know actually has something to look at. There used to be one in maddington but is now long gone Niss'n datsun else

the problem is that scrap is worth real money nowdays and SIMS are crushing everything they can get their hands.
the other issue is that wreckers take up a lot of valuable land. a lot of them have scrapped the lot and redeveloped the land and retire on the proceeds.
why wreck cars all day when you can be a property developer?

no but the engine parts are a maybe...i'm lookin for a shell of somesorts as well is there are any left...But you never know

I am mainly after a sunny shell

Pick a part used to have the odd 'good' datsun but they are no more. They had 2 1000s at one point!
I think the best your gonna get is looking in the quokka for parts!
