#1 H 150 into Coupe
DattoFrog Posted on: 2008/9/19 14:28
I was looking at the H150 I have out of 120Y. Iwas going to do the centre change out in the coupe but would it be way easier to just roll the complete H150 under. Will it all line up and are the 1200 Coupe and 120y tailshafts the same length. it doesn't look to be that hard doing it this way instead of the whole spacer plate senerio.

You will need all the bits off the 120y from what ive been told possibly even the tail shaft PIGDOG has experience on that one. asked him about it once for my coupe

I thought the 120Y diff was a bit wider than a 1200.

I currently run a complete H150 [drum to drum in my B110 Sedan, straight swap apart from having to run the 120y drive shaft, u-bolts, base plates, rubber blocks [120y leaf springs are incased in C section type rubber blocks]. It is also a good isea to use the centre pin from the 120Y also. [its longer and locates the diff housing. Nearly forgot to mention, dont forget to grab the 4th leaf spring from the donor 120Y [smallest] and include it in the stack. stiffens the stack as well as makes the whole essembly fit better as the U Bolts are longer than the B110 ones
