280zx struts with ImportBitz.com weld on coil over kit, it was $225 from memory with c-spanners and springs were another $120.

Pauls fabrication in the US makes a very nice wilwood 4spot brake setup for the 280zx struts I will be buying one of these days.

keep the standard struts
chop out a section and reweld threaded top
weld on seat
fit shorter shocks
fit coilover sleeve/springs/hats
Refit to car with or without camber plates
Done

mine and unfams cars are running basically the say struts

stanza/200b struts, mine are cut down stanza ones with corrona inserts(very low ride height needed) unfams ones are 200b or stanza struts cut down to suit 240z inserts
both are using ebay spec alloy theads and perches with custom top perches on mine and tein top perches on unfams

the collars were a rather neat fit on the strut which was good, so i just welded a step onto the struts(bit of cut down pipe so the top is flat) for the thread to sit on and then used grub screws in the top of the thread to stop any rotation and movement upwards

so far they seem to be working all good and seem to be decent quality material....fr all of $100 to do both sets of struts neither of us are complaining

coz mik has a pic...i'll out do him , man my brakes look small

no complaints here, and ive adjusted the height heaps now trying to get it right and playing around with camber at lower ride height.. toe in toe out shake it all about.
