whats the legality with mounting an alloy fuel cell in the tray of a ute?

ok cause this would be a whole lot easier then a drop tank... and cheaper

If you have a charcoal canister you could vent to that? Or loop hose up into the b-pillar with a reversed fuel filter to stop fuel going up hose and vent out through floor, something like that anyway.
