Throttle Cable

Hi all,
I'm needing to replace the throttle cable in the 1200. Went to the local Burson's and found that they have cables for 1000, 120Y, etc., nothing for 1200. What would be a good alternative apart from going to the wreckers. Cheers all, Kel

why cant you use a 120y cable? they are all just a loop on one end and a lead bead on the other right?

B210 (120Y) uses the same cable as B110 (Datsun 1200). B310 (Sunny) is different.

Thanks for the reply, that will do nicely.
I was caught out once with the line of 'yeah mate, this will fit' when I was looking for a bonnet cable...unfortunately didn't fit. Can't be too sure now can we... Kel

In a pinch, you could use twine or a plastic newspaper bundle tie. I've made do with that.
