can ne 1 tell me how much the avarage cost is for a 12a rotary

Hey this is a datsun forum HA HA. Single or Twin dizzy ? 12a's are getting rare and pricey i went through the research about 9 months ago and got a rude shock. Twin cam engines became more appealing but like anything they do come up cheap theres a 1200 coupe on ebay with a 12a sitting in engine bay no bids $800 buy the lot and take what ya want wreck out the rest or sell it minus parts.

so how much

quotes were between $2000 and $3000 stock motor no box but there was a guy in brisy that does imports selling RX-7 front cuts around $4000 from memory.

cheers i just want something old style looking like with the big weber on top wid extractors but also wont be to expensive

Honestly if you want one thats not going to cost much ebay is probably the place just type in 12a and select car section and have a look through there some good ones come up now and again , i found a couple from $500 up to $3000

when i converted my ute i bought a running series 2 rx7 for $1800. Then sold it for $1000 minus its running gear and everything i took out of it for the conversion.

that was around 3 years ago though..

if you dont wanna spend much why dont you just keep the a12 n stick webbers on that? if your going to all the trouble of putting a 12a in you might as well spend 6k n get a tuff rotor built with a shot of nos of somethen
