hi all, looking for 2 matchin 165 65 or 70 13 or 175 60 or 65 13.

basically need t get some slightly wider tyres as the 155 lock up by breathing on them with the 200 b brakes front and larger slaves on the rear.

Will be upgrading to 13/16 brake master soonish too but this is something else that needs attention to.

Located in melbourne and I am cheap.

let me know if you can help out. Looking for a half decent pattern, not the old cross ply type things.

Yeah they sound big mate but they are quite small (they're bigger than a 55)
But you would know whats right, no wories mate.

yeah might scrub on front floor pan if bigger than 165 70 on front or 175 65 13

see if you can get some formula ford front tyres, they're 6 inch wide with a nice and low profile (no normal tyre ratings written on them) and have a fair amount of grip in them. not road legal but that's no real biggie.

unfamilia, i rekon you could pick up some cheap re-treads or even newys down there in melbs. Have a good look around

pk75, i would never consider retreads, used them once when i was 19 and never again, lasted 2 weeks before one decided to come apart on the south eastern, the other was not far behind.

just figured some one might have some sitting around after a wheel upgrade or similar.
