#1 Exhaust Length/Weight
XCracer Posted on: 2009/7/22 2:35
Hey all, i am chasing some freight charges for a full exhaust system, and was wandering if anyone knew the best way to do so, weather to cut into 3 pieces 8 pieces or whatever and the weight of the total exhaust..

i would obviousy cut the extractors after it joins into one pipe.. but then what??

3 parts. Cut the exhaust pipe after the muffler.

I know this, I used play shelf monkey at ford so it'll be lighter than the stuff I had to deal with. Probly be around 8-10 kg for the straight with muffler, 3-4 for the diff over and mabey 7 for teh extractors. Some couriers are quite good at guestimating the weights on teh spot but it'll end up going on scales before it hits any interstate trucks.
