Datsun 1200 strut inserts

Does anybody know if the strut insert from a 1200 strut is the same length as the 120Y strut insert from the post 76 cars. I have a set of 1200 struts with what seem to be good
inserts & the front struts on my friends 1978 120Y are very much gone, so I'd like to use the inserts in the 120Y. I also have a pair of rear shocks for a B310 Sunny sedan that I want to try as well.

Yes Paul they should intershange. B110 to B210. If by chance you get stuck I have a spare pair of near new Monroe Gas if needed.

Thanks Benny, I thought that, but it never hurts to ask. I've looked at the Monroe catalogue & the Peddars catalogue since posting & they both have the same part number. It looks like the 120Y & Sunny rears are different,though. Might have to do the unthinkable & actually buy some rears.
