is there any alterations needed to fit a stanza front end to a datsun 1200

What part of the Stanza? Struts, Steering arms, Lower control arms,Castor arms,Ball joints. The only real modification if you're fitting the whole lot is to run a drill through the 3 holes in the strut tower as the 1200 strut tops have 8 mm studs & the Stanza has 10 mm. If you're using only bits & pieces you need some mods. So it's easier to get everything. the taper on the steering arm to tie rod end hole is the right taper, the lower control arms fit into the crossmember & the castor arms go to the 1200 mounts. Even the flexible hose on the caliper is the same pitch & thread as the 1200.The main thing to change is the spring, as the stanza one is too long for the 1200,& you'll get positive castor if you don't.
