Hey guys after looking at my standard tunnel in my 1200 coupe I have now decided it will be easier to work with a 120Y tunnel so if anybody has a 120Y they are stripping/scrapping and want to get rid of the car, or want to cut the tunnel out for me that would be great.

To put it into my Datsun 1200 coupe for a larger W58 gearbox.

If you want to get rid of a whole car I am happy to buy the whole lot.

Blue Mountains/Penrith NSW

mate I'm pretty sure manual and auto tunnels are the same size in the 120Ys hope that might make your search a little easier

It should be just the mounting points that are different. The manual is about 100mm further forward than the auto and closer together. Where the auto is further back and set further apart. The carpet is the same between the models so the floor pans should be the same. I once compared both my cars and it was near identical.

Hey guys thanks for that I wasn't sure I just knew they had changed the tunnels for the 1200's (Auto/Manual) so I was just playing it safe. So now if anyone has a manual or auto tunnel im interested.

Hey mate, I was wondering if you know if this tunnel allows the heater box to be put back in, also have you ever put a series 2 bluebird tunnel in a 1200 before.

Nah not yet we are using a series 2 bluebird tunnel from another wreck in our 1200 wagon probably need to mod it a bit to fit heater box but all worth it in the long run.

bluebird one should also work, just a bit more effort getting it all to line up with the floor. also need to fab up more of the back section to make it meet
