4 or 5 seater

Hey guys and girls I have 2 1200 coupes 1 is a full rebuild the other is a spare car for parts. One has 3 seat belts in the rear and the other has only 2 with no middle belt.I cannot find any info wheather these car are a 4 or 5 seater vehicle any help would be great.

my guess is because they were built after 1970 they were required to have all seats matching up with a seatbelt. dont quote me but because my 1000coupe is 1969 it only requires front seatbelts. anything older requires all seatbelts.

on my compliance plate, it states that it is a 4 seater

& quite rightly too. Can you imagine sitting in the middle position of the back seat for any length of time. Funny that the sedans seems to have centre seat belts, same problem. Bruised tailbone, anyone.

yeah my sedan is a 4 seater
it also tells you this on the plate in the engine bay i thought all coupes and sedans were 4 seaters??? i'd have a guess that wagons are aswell

Thanks guys yes it is a 4 seater.Now this has turned into a problem I have three young boys and how can I tell my wife shes not aloud in the car.
