You are going to be disappointed in me again: I bought annother Corolla. I AM SORRY I JUST COULDN'T HELP MYSELF.

+1. Not a fan of the generic new car shape. The Ke and T are cool though.

Can't wait to see the crazy nose cone for the T18 come to fruity-ition!

To Mr Datsun1000;Camery NO. AURION SX6 YES. Company car YES but mine now and we have a choice and the Aurion in my opinion with only my 30 years of driving experience to guide me is that the Aurion is most likely the best family sedan on the market today. The others although good just don't cut the mustard.

Our local panel bloke does this plastic welding. I took a sample of this plastic sheet to him and asked his opinion about making the "Monza" style nose for the T18 out of it instaed of aluminium. And this sheet (1.2m x 4m x 4mm) of stuff I got out of an evaperative cooler is the same gear as what thy use in new car components. So I am making patterns and and cutting and he is going to weld it if I help out in his shop. I was hopeing to have the T18 ready by XMas but not sure now. The KE goes up for inspection and rego later today. All I had to do to her was fix the horn and give her a tidy up. AND YES I TOOK THAT UGLY ROO BAR OFF! It looks so much beter now.
Cheers Guys

As much as we love older cars..................it's hard to beat a modern for everyday, they handle, stop, go well without beating you up.......soemthing the older cars aren't always so good at. Years ago we had a Geo Prism (Toyota Corolla ), on one of our drives with friends, who had a Spitfire, GT6, MGB & XK150........with the exception of the Jag the cars were only about 15 years apart and the Corolla easily kept up on the curvy two lane stuff....hard to beat technology.........of course it's tough to much the rugged feel of an old car.
