be aware that if you dont have your fuel pump output connected(switched to neg) you will not have injector pulse :) found that out the hard way lol.

another quick find i had today for those who want to run thermofans.. instead of paying $50 for a thermo switch. u can get them from jay car in a range of temps from 60,70, 90 etc..

wow, so those thermo fan switchs are mounted on any metal surface? not in the coolant?

so you could almost mount the 70deg one and that gives you a buffer to allow for surface heat transfer. just where to mount it to get a reliable heat temp source for the cooling system?

These things are great so cheap and simple (like Unfamiliar!) but they work well too!
I mounted mine on my top hose and connected it straight to the battery so it would keep cooling after the engine has turned off but the fan goes for ages, Bottom hose works much better.
If connecting to the ignition I would recommend top hose.

I am gunna mount mine on the radiator tank itself, right on the side.

levey can you post a pic, i thought had to be mounted to metal surface? I dont see how would work on plastic top tanks, could always silicon it on , thats simple, effective and cheap (like me too right levey)

im thinking of fitting for my 2 thermofans, one for 70deg and another for 80 deg, likea dual stage set up

its just a mini thermostat :) not rocket science. the craig davies setups look like an oven thermostat.

i went for the 70deg ones cause it will be slightly hotter in the coolant itself before it kicks on..

i would be hookin them up to the ignition levey, u dun want em to run for too long ;) maybe get a turbo timer for it? hehe

So how do you mount them guys? With silcone or glue?

i would say either, as long as the little pad doesnt get silicon on it should be right.. i am prob gunno glue mine to the rad tank itself with epoxy and or super glue...
