Maddat booster set up.. question why it wont work

hey guys,
the booster i got on my car is a maddat one, the hose has vaccum what connects to the booster, but i got a hard pedal all the time... even when the car is started.. what could it be? #OOPS#ty booster? can u open them up?

u can open them up( not suggested )
can u here hissing coming from the booster when u apply brakes? is there any difference in peddle hardness going not going?

yeh when i pump it i can hear a hissssss.. but we didnt find were it wsa comming from.. check the hose an that..
yep pedal is hard 24/7

i dont have a vac check valve... could that be the problem?

hissing is coming out of booster were rod comes out
that go's to pedel,its fvked

can they be fixed? if so how much you reckon?
so the rod that connects to my pedal its #OOPS#'d on that side or the master cyclinder side? the hisss you can hear is a SSHHH sounds when u pump the pedal

can be fixed
hissing coming from pedal side hissing is vacume leaking in the booster when u apply brakes booster vents into cabin not engine bay try your local parts supplyer they should be able to get it rebuilt

Ben, i think you have #OOPS#ed the booster by not nunning a check valve, the valve holds vacume when your engine is at high revs, and also stops boost pressure entering the booster. By not running one the boost pressure has eather popped your diaphragm or the seal has slipped.
Bring it up one day and i'll see what it is.

Scott i would of thought when you buy products if another product was needed you would of been told or the part would also been sold with it..
yeh i might just go to u pull it an get a valve an see if it works

You will hear a hissing noise when the booster is applied anyway
Check the front seal of the booster where it goes to the master... Dastun boosters are notorious for ripping the seal As for check valve... yes make sure you fit one When you bought it maybe they assumed you already had one on the car in the line
