#1 Anyone here do custom dashes?
Fenix_Longbow Posted on: 2010/3/18 21:32
Hi guys,

Looking at either customising my current dash or try and find sumone who makes aftermarket ones. The original one has just one big crack right in the centre of the dash.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Steel

If you just want to get the foad dash part repaired, thats easy. There are a number of dash repairers available around Aus. Just look one u in your local yellow pages.

I dont know of any "dash customisation" mobs, but I am sure any custom car shop will help you out. Just make sure your wallet is heavy.

One of our members on here has made a charade dash fit into a 1200. It looks good, but it was a long and ardous process for him.

Ah #OOPS#...

I had this grand plan to modify the stock dash and secure 3mm aluminium plater along it, insert a few Saber gauges for water, oil temp, oil pressure and boost. Then a 180sx guage cluster, relocate the light and window wiper knobs down to the bottom- secured to a bit of aluminium RHS. Finish all the plate with a carbon fibre overlay.

This aluminium sheet would extend to the door trim, kick panels, and panels further back inside.

What do u guys think?
