Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if the A15 had a round intake port version??? It was my understanding that A14 and A15 had oval ports but I have been told that the high comp model had round ports.....is this correct? Regards Rod

if you take the rocker cover of , at the back of the head there should be a number moulded into the head and if you go onto the wiki icon there should be some info about what this number means ,i have a H89 head on my A14 which is an ovel port head and is preferred over a standard head
hope this helps

There was a 'thrift' version of the A14 that was sold in some overseas markets, most noteably the USA, & these had round ports, however I do not believe that this was ever duplicated on the A15

Yes, there was an A15 with this. Also an A15 with small oval pots. Most A15s have the regular oval port. There were no uniquely A15 heads, but A15s used heads that were fitted to A14 engines.

Dang. Will I ever learn?
I was completely unaware of any round port A15's but I will try to not make that mistake again. You can view topic.
