locking bluebird dizzy

looking at locking the electric bluebird dizzy.
currently the vacum advance is disconnected, but would still be adding/pulling timing with just the mechanical advance. how hard is this to do. optimally it would be better to just have it regraphed but dont really need to have advance for fuel economy etc. this is fromadvice revhead gave me about the l series on stright lpg not liking too much mechanical advance as it makes it ping/detonate. figured locking it would be almost as good as a regraph.
