#1 Measure your Combustion Chambers & Piston Dish - FS: Measuring kits
clyons8 Posted on: 2010/7/6 13:17
Is anyone interested in some cc plates to measure their combustion chambers and piston dish?

These figures can help to calculate compression ratio.

I cut a few out of a nice and thick 6mm sheet (high quality) that I had and each piece measures 100 x 100mm. I also have some spare syringes left over from a pack that I bought.

I figured I could include maybe a 50cc and 10cc syringe and the plate drilled already unless you want it blank.

I intended to use the 50cc syringe to check consistencies when porting.

Only about 4 sets here, can make more.

Anyone interested??? Send me a PM.

Red food dye and water. Helps define any left over air bubbles/pockets. Use a stick of chap stick to provide a seal around the chamber/piston dish.

I got rid of the syringes this morning, so forget about the 15.

So if anyone wants a perspex 6mm cc plate, just say so....... I have about 48 pieces here left over from an architectural model (wouldn't mind a couple $ for each though just to recoup costs!)

I can drill them for you or you can drill them.
