price seems good, could be interested. twin 44s is on the large side tho

Absolutely quality setup right here :) seriously 44mm SUS beat 38mm anyday
for those after more oomph and yet with its infinitely variable operation
it can replicate a smaller carb charge velocity and maintain economy.
Non pollution original English SUS are still made new so parts are no issue.
Will suit from mild to hot 1200 and up. On ebay it will fetch that price
from the morrie baby boomer Grey brigade.

I may be interested in the SU manifold (D1000) if you end up splitting it all up.

It looks like a four stud, can you confirm?

by 4 stud i asume 4 studs to bolt the carbs onto ? its got 2 threads tapped in each and they bolt on with 1/2inch bolts

Yeah, sorry I'm confused? They're two stud? I thought they were four. I'm after a four stud but that's only if you separate, someone else might want the whole lot.

Is the intake manifold round or oval port?

Linx D1000 is for Datsun 1000, so they are round ports.




Which says -- with this manifold -- the larger SUs won't make any more power than the 1.5" (38mm) SUs. English measurements, hmmph.

Additionally, in Australia at least, this manifold if used in its original unmodified form is not legal for street use on anything other than the A10 engine.

If provision is made for PCV function, then it will be legal for use on 1200 engines.

it wouldnt be hard to drill a hole and tap the thread for the PCV hell if you want il throw one in just because im a generous redneck

i will split em up $300 for the carbies with the fuel line and linkages and new air filters and gaskets and $200 for the manifold plus postage to whereever it is you are in this big red land :)
