Engine Idle Speed set up

Hi Guys
I am not aware about how to setup my engine idle speed myself, likes to try it a bit so any time on my own, has any one got how is it done ? i was looking at my mechanicwhile he is doing it,Carb has 2 adjustments one is Accelerator padel turning it clock wise increase engine rpm, other one is i think fuel air mixture screw turning it clockwise reduce engine rpm and become it smooth and wise versa, correct me if i am wrong guys i know this is all with expierience but would like to know basic adjustment thanks Regards sumith

Yes, that is correct.
It is part of the Tune-up. Here are the basic settings: Quote: Adjust carburetor at full operating temperature. Verify choke is fully open before adjusting

Hi DD
My Car tend to die on Load (when i put it to the gear or when i put head lights on)not all the time but sometime you can keep it start for any time but when you engage gear or put head light sometimes it will die do you think that is with idle setup ? thanks Regards sumith

Possibly, yes. It needs to be reset once a year.
