#1 B210 20mm stabilizer bar vs. 110 bar
edp Posted on: 2010/11/9 15:58
I have the 20mm bar, went to buy the bushings for it (the ones on the ends - 4 ea. side) & the whole assembly is about 1" taller the the stock 110 setup. I'm not sure but it looks like I'll have a clearance problem w/the bolt either hitting the strut assembly.

Bought - Moog K8989 & Moog K9255 kits

For those of you that have done this swap - what did you use for a bushing kit? The 110 one's are unavailable over here, I thought about using the new 210 bushings on the 110 bolt but the ID is too big or going to a shorter bolt but it doesn't look like the bush will compress that much nor would I want it too.

Anybody have any good solutions?

Thanks a lot.

that would be very nice of you. I'd be happy to pay freight & whatever associated costs - please do let me know.

I've tried before poking around on some AU parts stores web sites but not much luck. What are some of the big auto parts store chains down under?

Thanks a lot!

Ed, because of the 280ZX control arms I ended up mixing and matching bushings to get a proper fit. I may have even drilled out the bushings for the larger bolts. I went to a local import car parts place and we picked through some bushings.

thanks Tom, I was looking on McMaster Carr's site at some polyurethane rod that I might be able to cut up & drill to make new bushings for the original smaller bolt.

Any idea what durometer rating is on a poly stabilizer bushing vs a standard rubber one?

Also, is the B210 bolt setup to tall & will it run into the brake or strut assembly, got any ideas?

Thanks again,
Evan
