#1 1200 ute
Harrison Posted on: 2010/12/20 11:25
Hi everyone i've had a datsun 1200 ute now for 3 years but havent done anything much with it yet but i am now. i bought it off a guy who did a ca18det conversion to it but it never got finished so i picked it up cheap, the problem with this though is its basicly a rolling shell with a motor and trans dumby fitted and i think theres a few parts missing out of all the stuff that came with it. the rear quarters are held on with bog basicly so im gonna replace them im also going to sell the ca18 motor and trans and buy a sr20ve (what ever the one with vvl is called) front cut. i'll put up a list of mods and photos up tomorrow.

the diff is out of a hilux and is short enough. the camber tops are from a rusty set of jic s13 coilovers.

hi everyone, i have some questions about the brakes. i've been reading in the tech wiki and im still not really sure what to do heres what i have at my place now
-nissan cefiro front rotors and calipers and the hubs and backing plates
-ba ford front brakes
-86 hilux front brakes there 4 pot calipers and non vented rotors
-many verious disc's
my ute has drums on the front at the moment so thats why i want to upgrade and also i want the front to be 5 stud like the back. im thinking of useing a hilux master cylinder and booster aswell. what would be the best set up
