hey mate if i was you i would start out simple like check the fuel filters then try the pump...by the way what sort of pump is it??? electric or just the one driven off the engine??? could be dirty could be an issue with the power supply to the pump if electric... possible but might not be the issue but it could be your float in your carby as it is not filling it up with enough fuel... just a few things to check out i could be wrong... but worth a look at..

give that a go any it will tell you if your getting fuel or not check to see if it serg's cause that could mean your pump is on its way out...

try this....if there isnt fuel in the filter use and air blower down the fuel line to the tank and see if it comes out, then put the filter back on. Take the fuel line off where it attaches to the carby and get your mate to crank it over and see if it comes out the hose. If it doesnt then there is probably a blockage some where if it does then there is something blocking the carby. this is where you chuck the air blower through the carby to blow it out and hopefully dislodge the stuff out

i wouldnt put compressed air into the carby ,cos it might damage the needle and seat of the fuel bowl arm

ide do all of the above and pull the top of the carby and check the needle and seat for a block by (blowing with your mouth) blowing through the fuel inlet pipe on the carby and if the air wont pass through then its blocked in the carby

hope this helps ,kinda mixed messages ,but all of the above should be helpful somehow

agree with estyre, use low pressure in the carb.

they are a realy simple carby ,so just buy a new gasket/rebuild kit for it then ,pull it down and clean every single part ,and ide pull the jets out one by one and clean them and then put them back in there correct spot cos some they are different sizes

and it wouldnt hurt to use carby cleaner in when cleaning jets and stuff ,when i did my twins it worked a treat ,gets rid of any carbon and cleans the ally up real nice !

good luck
