hi i am putting my carby together and i just saw a pic on the net and was wandering were the distributor vacumm addvance goes wen i got the car it was plugged uin the cirlce diaprham kind of thing circled in black but the pic says it goes in the carby vaccum circled in yellow so were should i attache the hose also its a manual choke!

also the accel pump leaver rod circled in blue it connects near the throttle cable cam right but why dosnt mine line up properly with lever once placed in there??

vac advance normally connecte to yellow circle, diaphram thing is not normally on the carb thoguh, what is the other half of that connected to?

not sure what part of lever doesnt line up?

the diafram connect to a thrrotle cam were the yellow advance is suppost to go is were the altitude compensator was plugged

so once i plugg the dizzy to yellow vaccum should i connect altitude compensator to diafram

maybe the owner before we connected it wrong?

yes, I think it was corrected wrong.

The altiude device was added around 1980 . I do not know how it is connected.

The diaphragm in the photo is the Throttle Opener
