hi just wanted to know if 185/70 r13 tyres will fit on a datsun 120y its origional from a datsun 1600 also will the front tyres hit anything when turning??

I ran 185\70 R13 on the rear and 165\75 whatever profile on the front cos I recall the front didn't like the fatties on there. I'm Using 185\60 R14's all round now on the sedan and they still rubbed a little on full lock if the suspension was loaded up. I haven't measured the offset differences between the two wheels though. A couple of "precision" cough hammer hits sorted that out for the most part.

or mabey it was cos I'm cheap and the fronts were the good tyres at the time so I bought fat old tyres for the rear, getting harder to remember those things

...and yet another point I forgot, I switched to stanza struts pretty early in the game which increased the track width slightly. My 120Y struts had spacers craft glued onto them when I bought it and I'm glad I switched to the stanza stuff cos the spacers were broken as well :S

I believe they will fit no problems. If they are stock 510 wheels and stock 1200 suspension.

I have 185/70-13 tires on the coupe I just picked up. They are on the wheels below. They work without any issues. Keep in mind that they are substantially larger in diameter than stock (like 6%) You will be going faster & farther than indicated by the speedo/odo.

B310/210 Wheels

Interesting. B310 wheels don't fit the stock 1200 disc brakes. Do you have a modified front suspension (or brake) setup? Wheel spacers?

No... It's all stock as far as I know. I haven't done anything with the suspension yet. I'm still welding in patches to the floors.

The wheels on my car look like the one's in the picture (just way more rusty). Could there be other wheels that look similar, that I have confused them with?

Corolla wheels look similar...
