Any idea of year model?

Can anyone shed any light on the Year Model of this Datto Ute.. is it a b120??

Yes it's a B120 (Datsun 1200 ute).
The grille is 1989-2007. Should have a gray interior, if it's brown it is a 1978-1989.

so were these released in Australia or just imported from Japan??

Aussie imports stopped in 1985.
Looks like a Japan-market one, judging by the plugs in the tops of the guards where the fender mirrors should be.

A/C was an option from 1978, but disk were standard only starting with Oct 1989
