#1 WANTED: A14 or A15
Stefano Posted on: 2011/6/13 5:39
I'm after an A14 or A15 to finish off my ute build (check the link on my sig block). Ideally something running with included carbies, but happy to have a look at whatever you've got. Happy to pick up from ACT or NSW but if you're further away we might be able to work something out.

Take pity on me, I'm keen as to finally get my ute on the road!

You're joking right? I haven't heard so much wank. Fastest A-series on the road? #OOPS#ing bring it on. Race engine my ass, that's tame.

There are so many discrepancies in that advert compared to what he put on here and he can hardly deliver specifics on the engine, unless you can go round and have a look at it you'd want to be pretty cautious.

Stefano, just wait it out and something will come along. You'd be better of finding a stocker and upgrading it later I reckon (less money up front).

Bige would be the go to man, no dice?

Yeah come on someone had to say it. Not bagging whoever built it but the seller can't make those sorts of claims.

Buy all means buy it but ask for a decent report on the engine build. He said he made 86.6hp ATW at a conservative dyno session.

Sorry but language like 'massive cam' and 'big comp' sets the alarm bells going. (for me anyway).

I recommend you go through Bige, or at least get your headwork/cam recommendation done through him. If I could ever afford for someone else to build an engine for me it would be him (bige/Ernie).
