has any one ran side drafts on the side of a ca18
brought this manifold off ebay $160 deliverd
would need to run 45mm to 50mm carbys?
only 40s on it in pic

40's are fine on a 1.8 litre, all depends on the main venturi [choke] selection. Whats the intended purpose of the engine? You can typically run up to 36mm chokes in 40mm weber /Dellortos.

40s are good for maybe 6500 RPM on a 1.8 liter.

D why would you use quad mikunis ?

Mikuni or Keihin Cv carbs from bikes are cheaper, lighter,
they allow space for longer runners, velocity stack.. etc.
Oh and look the goods.

but got the delortos spare

why go back in time with carby setup, looks like it would hit the booster/master to me

nothing beats the noise of side drafts
