There is a guy on nissansilvia.com who has just finished his CA20 build - http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=460552&st=60

CA20 build? Or CA18 stroked out to 2-liter build?

It was a spool stroker build.

CA20 already has an 88mm stroke. Fitting the Spool stroker kit would de-stroke it to 87.6 mm.

I don't see a CA20 stroker kit at Spoolimports.com. The stock CA20 bottom end alreatdy has more CCs than the CA18 stroker kit, but Spool parts are advertised safe for up to 1000 hp.

DD, it was in direct reply to his original question regarding the spool stroker kit for CA18 and I included the link to the said build.

For clarity, the link is to a CA18DET rebuilt with a spool stroker kit.

Yes the one in the link is the ca18 stroked not ca20 stroked
but spool and nismo used to sell the 87.x mm crank.

Theres another mob in NZ that sell a cromo crank but at
19.5kg I rather use the stock nissan crank with girdle
as the stock non full conuterweighed crank can spin to 9k
safely and will never shear its flange bolts or front pulley.
The stock ca18de/t crank is like 6k lighter and not knifed
edged yet while a uk tuner used to sell the knife edged
ca18det as exchange service for 300-380usd was about 12.5kg.

Ca20 bottom end with good rods and pistons balanced will
easily handle 400hp ate its been done by several peeps.
If you want more its a drag/dyno queen not a tractable setup.
