Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum, all the way from South Africa. Looks like I'm gonna learn alot here.
I currently own a 1972 Datsun 1200 GX coupe still building up, still busy fixing the mechanical parts before making nice.

I'll post some pics of the Datsun later.

Thanks

Welcome to the club. We have many SA members here, from the Cape all the way over to Easy London.

We love restoration photos!

Thanks for the reply guys, I'm here in "gangster's paradise" (Gauteng)

My apologies for taking so long to reply.

I tried to load some pics on here but the max file size is only 200k? the ones I got is about 1.83MB, I will sort this out tommorow with a converter or something.

Sorry Guys

Yes, you can post photos 2.3 Megapixel photos (1024x768 or 1280x600). Those are almost always below 200k file size.

You can resize them with Windows or buy using a converter. See http://datsun1200.com/modules/xoopsfaq/index.php?cat_id=7#q6

Hey thanks ddzgonzal, I came right with the resizing of the images.

Pardon the poor quality it's cellphone pics.
These pics were taken right after I fitted the new wheels, theyre 13x7 mini-lites with 205 tires on.

at first I just wanted to restore my Datsun but after I found this site I'm going the whole nine yards .
I'm gonna start a build threat with this baby.

Here's the pics

Nice. It already looks restored. What are your plans?

LOL I bought the car like this, stil the original paint on there.
well I want to go full house with the vehicle, New motor just not sure which one. I checked on the forum that the people like to use the C18DET engine with gearbox, but I'm also considering the Nissan Hardbody 2.4 engine... I'm not sure yet what to do there.
I want to do suspension, interior and repaint.
but there is still a long road to go still...
