Gearbox question??

Hey guys if I had a Datsun 1000 3 SPD box can I change the bell housing with a normal a series bell housing??? Any help is appreciated

Don't know if anyone has ever done that, but I would guess YES. 1000 has a bell crank clutch.

Yea it's got a pole conning out of the bell housing but I think a 3 speed would be different.. So I wanna know if I could just swap the bell housings over
