So whos had good experiences with buying new door seals?

need some for the wagon and everywhere i have seen list sedan and wagon as the same....which they arent.

Also not so keen on phils rotary whatever on ebay, my brother bought new door seals from him a while back and within about 3 months they were worse than the ones he'd replaced
also bought a wagon rear window seal from them that turned up with 4 square edges....and wagons have rounded edges on the windows, but he insisted that it was the right thing for a 1200 wagon

so anyone with good experiences would be good

I'd avoid Rare Spares aswell, they insist that all window seals for a 1200 are the same.
Or maybe the cleaner picked up the phone when I called?!?!

what about scotts old rubber in huntingdale?
expensive but good aparently.

scotts also list a lot of stuff that i know is different as the same thing

thinking of just getting whatever length of the seal that i need and making my own. think scotts was $14 ish per meter. which is a bit better than $70 a seal

Nissan.... Can't go wrong... Might be expensive but hell its done pretty well to last for 20+ years so its cheap really ;)

sorry to renew an old thread but found this using the search bar, it wasnt exactly what I was looking for, but thought I'd just bump this one rather than start a whole new thread...

Anyway, my question is, what is the best glue/resin to hold the new door seals on.
I have a 1200 ute (obviously lol) and the seal along the bottom of the door keeps hanging down and stickin out the bottom of the door when i close it haha, looks like the last guys used liquid nails or something lol
any suggestions...

I think 3M make a glue, window rubber adhesive. You need to be careful with this stuff as its nasty and dries yellow, prepsol lifts it easy though. Once you get to stick it works well .

U need a rubberized glue, shoe glue works well

make sure mounting surfaces are clean, use a wax & grease remover or something like Dawn dishwashing soap. No lacquer thinner or solvent wipe down
