datgx Posted on: 2012/4/21 4:01
Hey guys anyone here know exactly how much oil it takes to replace the old oil in my dogleg 5 speed ? And to drain it is it the square plug on the bottom of the box and to fill is the square plug on the top side of it ??

drain from the bottom square plug yes, to fill there is a plug half way up (vertically) the side of the main housing, this sets the level, keep pumping oil in until it spills out the fill hole (gearbox should be close to level)... then you know its full... a typical gear oil bottle should be heaps

My 63a takes about 1.5lt

If its a dogleg be careful as there's another bolt underneath, don't undo that one do the one that the 1/4 inch drive goes into
