Hi all looking at these Cam specs compared to a sss Cam. IM running an l16 with l18 crank and rods with l24 flat top pistons. IM hoping will clear pistons and also would it work with straight Lpg and a custom plenum set up with individual runners Valve Timing Specifications are as follows
, Inlet Valve Timing 39 - 69 Exhaust Valve Timing 77 - 31 Advertised Duration 288 Duration @050” 250 Cam lift .285” Valve Lift .428” Tappet Settings Inlet .008” Exhaust .010”

Sounds just right for a 5000 to 7000 rpm range

My one tonner had a high lift cam with lower duration than that somewhere around 220 and 12mm lift but was too many moons ago yet remember it prevented backfiring due to overlapping compared to a longer duration cam I used earlier which damaged my previous engine.
Another thing is gas needs 30% more volume than petrol so are your runners and plenum bigger than an injected version would be? Looking at your manifold and an efi online its a close call.

Plenum and internal volume about 10% bigger than stock efi manifold.
Looking at a higher comp head with 40mm Ports and larger valves. This is the Cam on it. I just can't loose too much vacuum down low or the car won't start but Cam guy said smaller Cam not great up top. More low and mid range. I'd rather but more mid and top so low down torque loads not too great. IM no burn out or drift guy. I like corners fast sweeping bends

whats stock duration like? as the lift isnt really much bigger than standard, its less of a jump going for an l18 cam to that one than it is from an early l16 to a later l16 cam
