Hi Guys
I have Tiny holes as per the pics in the middle of the head like this, right at the moment those are not leaking coolant or oil to the surface ,but some are little deeper about 4/1 inch will these be a problem later ? do i need to fill them and reface the head ? thanks regards sumith

it's round port a12.... just get a new one... that does not look good at all
it looks like it could still have a fair bit skimmed off it, but still it's a cheap head so i would just replace

Hi Guys
I didn't measure them but they are little deeper, so far this was running without any issue , but i was just thinking to fill it and reface it . Buying a new head is very expensive here is is not affordable right now ![]() thanks regards sumith

If it is 1/4" (5 mm) deep, i wouldn't trust that cylinder head. The casting is thinner than that in many places.
I've never seen a head with that problem.

Have them milled out by carefully measuring their depth respective to the water/oil channels and have them welded up and re-surfaced. If you have an engineering connection. Should be cheaper than another head if they are so expensive. but its bound to give in soon.

Once upon a time we have used a 2 part epoxy to fill this type of damage, simply wiped off the excess.....far far from ideal but it did hold together until the car was done in by an SUV 2 years later.

Good to hear. I have thought about this a couple of times lately. It will be good to hear that your car is on the road.
