#1 Water suction pipe A15 - Help
loosekid Posted on: 2013/1/4 1:28
Hey boy's i am needing to change out the water suction pipe on my A15 as it is old and quite corroded which is going to do the engine harm..
really the only thing not changed on the engine..

Just needing a hand to understand how to remove and fit the new one.. Is it screwed into the engine or is it pushed in?
Also if its pushed in how is it held?? does it need automotive silicone to hold it when the new one is put in??

What is the best way to remove it??

Here is the Water suction pipe i am talking about..

vice grips, belt it with a hammer.. it will come out,
clean the hole up good... some kind of engine sealant bash the new one in, something like threebond, or Wurth glue will do the job

It is a press fit. Put the vice-grips on it and tap the vice-grips until the comes out.
