#1 Centric master cylinder
dhadina Posted on: 2013/9/8 9:32
Hi all has anybody used the centric master cylinder shown in the tech wiki and located on eBay

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2512459471 ... _trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

If so what are your opinions. The picture shown is a nabco so not sure if it is or a aftermarket version. The seller said they don't know until they get it from the warehouse.

But yeah just after opinions if people have used it before.

Cheers

NABCO master interchanges with the Tokico master. Only if you are swapping internal parts does it matter. The unit as a whole can either be NABO, Tokico or some other manufacturer.

If you are asking about quality, I do not know how good Centric is.

That particular master cylinder is for a disc-brake 1200.

I'm going for a disc brake conversion so will apply to me. I'm not sure if I should replace the whole unit or just rebuild my existing.

I'm trying to replace most things with new with my build so just trying to find the best aftermarket as most oem stuff is hard to find or very expensive.

I would buy the centric rather than rebuild the old cylinder.
