"Up for sale is this 1979 Datsun 1200 coupe. It is a car in need of full restoration. It has been sitting idle in a paddock for a number of years. As you can see in the pictures the paint on the roof has starting flaking off. The car does has a small amount of rust in the drivers side sill, the rear apron and a small patch on the passenger side door. It has a very large dent in the passenger side front guard and will need to be replaced. The interior seems to be all there. The motor and gearbox is there but I'm not sure if it will start. I wouldent pay $400 for it

So would I.. but I already have a sedan, no o way of getting that coupe home.. Oh well

Nah i looked at it years ago he seems to think its worth money. In person it looks like a horse has been sleeping on the roof or a couple of goats a lot of the trim is perished and damaged not a lot to salvage really. He was meant to meet me there for a look but never showed so we looked without him since its just sitting in a paddock with no gates. That was as i said years ago so i can only imagine its deteriorated even more.

lol.. would it be a good start though for someone chasing a cheap coupe as a starter? As coupes are very expensive and usually worked on these days..
