DOGLEG CONFUSION

Right as most have you have seen i am after dogleg a series box.
I am able to get an FS5W63A box from an S110 silvia. My question is can you simply swap the gearbox internals from the s110 box into the bell housing of a 4 speed A series box? And will it work? Any help appreciated...

only if you currently have an A series 63A box to put them into, and I don't think there is an A series 4spd 63A box. The 63 denotes the distance between main and layshafts, so that gearset won't fit in other (eg 60series) boxes

So what you are saying is that i cant take the internals from a NON A series fs5w633a and put them into a 4 speed (56a) bell housing?

No way to do so. The 63mm internals are larger than the 56mm case.
