#1 My B310 died suddenly, No Ignition
Sumith Posted on: 2014/3/3 3:10
hi Guys

My B310 died suddenly , it lost its power did not pull at all,and also the same time i had a bad exhaust misfire it started but could not reach higher rpm, initially it
was like a problem of fuel system ,but later it did not start at all, so checked
it and found no ignition,

checked all the wires and they were ok,rotor had black carbon marks on it so i cleaned it
and i pulled the ignition coil wire which goes to the middle of the distributor cap which is coming
from ignition coil secondary circuit(middle Wire)

i tried the circuit by manually using a screw driver it had a nice spark at the end of the
ignition coil wire(secondary Wire) , but when i turn the engine with the starter it doesn't give
spark to the wire
so i checked the contact point gap and also contact point is opening and closing accordingly,
what could be this strange problem ?

have anyone come across slimier situation ?

thanks
regards

Just a stupid idea but you could try to charge your battery and see if that does anything

Maybe try the condenser??? Mine failed the other day and it was acting like a fuel problem just wouldn't rev and missing.

Hi 72datto

I Tried changing too, If it is bad i won't get good spark while doing it manually through a screw driver, i am just now thing on my ignition switch working weird, while cranking the starter , just like voltage drop on start position of the key ?

thanks

Hi Guys

Sorted out it as i thought it is the Ignition Switch , It Drops the Current on Start Position, so car won't get voltage to ignition while cranking

thanks
