Rb25det Gearbox Prices

Hi guys ive been looking on ebay/gumtree at rb25det gearboxes,now they are around the 1k mark for a used one or I can get a brand new create one for $2800 is this to much?

Do the $1000 one come with a money-back guarantee? If not a crate engine direct from Nissan/Nismo would probably be less expensive in the end.
