Ca18det oem valve lifters

Hi guys just would like to know whether or not the oem lifters will cope with 3-400hp?can only get oem.

Mine is smack in the middle. No problems with oem lifters. Solid if you want high rpm and high valve lift.

Hi guys what is the difference between hydrolic and shim lifters?tried googling it and couldn't get a definitive answer.

The eom hydraulic lifters are fine I use them in my CA18 thats spinning to 8500 and making 340rwkw no issues as yet. The solids are for higher lift cams are a bit of a pain to setup. That's why I stuck with the hydraulic ones.

Does anyone know whether or not any other Nissan(sr,rb etc etc) valve retainers will work with the ca18det?
