Hi

I'm fitting a 32/36 DGAV-3D WEBBER water choke model to my 1200 ute, has any body fitted one of these webbers to their ute before ?

It looks pretty straight forward apart from a couple of vacuumed ports an a a second fuel line ??

My A15 is stock apart from the exhaust system ..... It has one vacuumed port which leads to the dissy and some electrical wires as well. When installing the webber what do I do with the electrical leads ? And which vacuum port do I hook the vacuum lead off the dizzy to ?

I have attached some photos photos of the webber :

Photo 1 is a photo of the 2 vacuum ports no idea where to hook up ?
Photo 2 is what looks like 2 fuel lines ? They both have arrows pointing to them
Photo 3 is of one vacuum port located under where the hook up is for the water choke (the same side as where the vacuum line was on the standard carby for the dizzy)
Photo 4 is of the water choke ports
Photo 5 is of the fuel line ports and 2 vacuum ports

Also can you get away with not hooking up the water choke ? Or is it not a good idea for cold starts with these carbys ?

Any help would be awesome !!

Heaps of people have fitted a 32/36 webber to datsun's generally great for a turbo setup :P

Photo 1 - one leads to dizzy for mechanical advance other goes to purge on carbon canister for emissions the lowest one goes to dizzy
photo 2 - One is a return the other is the inlet for the fuel the bottom or lower one is fuel inline the return remove and block or setup a return line or you can have it go to your carbon canister as well for purge id just block it its nothing needed

Dont block the return line for fuel, set up a fuel return line to fuel tank its more beneficial long term and carb will only use the fuel it needs sending rest back to tank

So the lower one in photo 1 goes to the dizzy and the one above goes to carbon canister, I don't have a carbon canister so I can block this line ?

What about the other small vacuum line in photo 3 under the water choke hook up ? Block it ?
Do you know if I can hook up a vacuum line for a vacuum gauge to ??

An what do you think about not hooking up the water choke set up ??

If was to set up a return line for the fuel do I have run a line back from the carby to the fuel tank ? If so where do I tap into ? Or can I tap back into the fuel line ? I don't have a carbon canister
