Hey guys, im new to the datsun game. I own a 1972 datsun 1200 coupe, its all done up for grag racing.. Having a problem with the brake and clutch pedal been so close to each other. I happen to go on vacation last week to the Dominican Republic and ran into a lot with a few datsun pick up trucks, i approach the guy and he told me eveything from the pick up would fit the coupe. so i bought the pedals from him, but when i went to put them on the car it dont work. So my question is. Do i need the bracket that holds the pedals on the pick up truck to be able to use it on the coupe? Or it just wont work?

I hate to ask the obvious question but were they off a Datsun 1200 (B120) 'pickup' ?

yes they came off the datsun 1200 pickup.. I even took off headlight and other things i needed for the car

can anybody please help out, im going back to dominican republic and need to know if i need that bracket or what.. Thank you
