71b gearbox internals

Hey
Wondering if I can use the internals (gears syncrods ect ) out of a 71b long nose box in the stumpy box ? Thanks sean

Yes gearsets and synchros interchange between 71B long-tail and 71B stumpy.
Individual gears won't unless both boxes are same ratio. Selector rod set won't interchange.

I'll look at tech wiki and see if I can find some info on the gear ratios .....
