been reading the forum for a couple of months now and finally found a question i can answer, IM 30 same age as my 2 door 1200 sedan? or are they called coupes, everybody seems to have a different opinion.

There was some discussion in another post as to what "coupe" and "sedan" meant in general terms, but there's no need to guess what is a Datsun 1200 Coupe and what is a 1200 Sedan. The 1200 Sedan is a notchback with a regular trunk compartment (boot), 2-dr and 4-dr both. The 1200 Coupe is a fastback with a trunk door that opens into the passenger compartment. Nissan clarified it for us here:
