What sealant or gasket to use for 60A 5 speed?

Just replaced the syncros in my 60A 5 speed. The cases had been sealed with sealant which I assume is normal for this one. What do I use for reassembly? I would prefer that it not leak after reassembly, although since it is used in an MG leakage would not be inappropriate.

Three Bond. I get mine from motor bike dealers since it's used a lot on faces that don't have gaskets which is common in motorbikes. Grey coloured and flows into all crevices and pits etc.

I would use silicone RTV gasket seal. Nissan used something similar (didn't use a gasket)
Three Bond makes a different sealers * 1100 series liquid gaskets * 1200 series liquid sealer silicon based (8 types) Gray 1200 (4 types), looks like their TB1215 is appropriate as it is gearoil resistant Permatex is perhaps the most popular brand in USA, they have "Gear Oil RTV Sealant" http://www.google.com/search?q=permat ... +Oil+RTV+Sealant&tbm=shop With RTV, it's important to use the minimum needed for the job because excess RTV causes problems You can view topic.
